The strife didn't end there, however, as he still had to deal with \u003cbr\u003eother revolts and wars on every corner of the empire. Caught in these \u003cbr\u003enever-ending battles he died while on his way to battle Julian II.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFlavius Iulius Constantius was born at Sirmium (now Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia \u003cbr\u003e) in province of Pannonia , the third son of Constantine the Great , and second \u003cbr\u003eby his second wife Fausta , the daughter of Maximian .
