However, there exists some scepticism on that. She was \u003cbr\u003emarried to Gallienus about ten years before his accession to the throne. When \u003cbr\u003eher husband became joint-emperor with his father Valerian in 253, Cornelia \u003cbr\u003eSalonina was named Augusta.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCornelia was the mother of three princes, Valerian II , Saloninus and Marinianus \u003cbr\u003e. Her fate , a fter the murder of Gallienus, during the siege of Mediolanum in \u003cbr\u003e268, is unknown.
