wearing the Phrygian cap adorned with a crown; signed below hollow
DANIEL-DUPUIS.
Engraver: Jean-Baptiste-Daniel Dupuis
Reverse: The personification of armored and draped Republic with cock on helmet,
seated left on a rock holding a standard flag in her right hand and an olive
branch in her left hand; on her right a child holding ears of corn and a hammer;
denomination is shield; engraver's name and date at the bottom; the abbreviation
"RF" on the top of the standard flag.
