Lattice countermark with large dot at center on Spain 1826-JB Seville mint 2 reales,
VF on Good host.
In 1841, the Spanish authorities in Cub@ ordered all circulating silver to be devalued and countermarked with a lattice punch.
The countermarked silver was then permitted to circulate in Trinidad, Santiago, and Puerto Principle (then the capital of Haiti).
Curious rendition of this countermark in that the central star is merely just a large dot.YOU WILL RECEIVED THE SAME COIN AS PICTURED.
