URUGUAY 1920 CENTAUR DESIGN, POLITICAL MEDAL, "AL CIVISMO DE CERRO LARGO"

1920 Tribute to the dead revolutionaries of 1897 and 1904.
Obverse:  the same figure of a Greek mythological centaur with his arms raised breaking a chain in an attitude of triumph, and in the background a rising sun, around the legend: FOR FREEDOM THEY DIED AND WITH IT THEY VICTED.- below small the stamp of the minting house: C. and ST. ROSSI.

Reverse: Legend varies, one says: TO THE CIVISM OF CERRO LARGO 28-IX   Around they have the same legend: THE DIRECTORY OF THE NATIONAL PARTY 1920.-
