Jacob Roggeveen led a voyage of 3 boats, the "Arend", the "Thienhoven" and "Afrikaansche
Galey" (lost in the Tuamotus) between Netherlands and Batavia in 1721-1722. He
discovered and named Eastern Island (reached on Easter Sunday 1722), Bora Bora
and Western Samoa
