This coin celebrates the airborne force – a
certain type of troops that belong to the immediate response forces of Ukraine’s
Armed Forces. This force is characterized by its high maneuverability and
autonomy of action, which are required for rapid deployment to conduct offensive
and assault operations, provide cover for other troops, attack the enemy from
the air, and fight in the enemy’s rear.
